Description

This unnamed, unlabeled scale is an early Brower scale design. It has an upright post to hold the half-roberval and pendulum mechanism.

The scale is green-painted steel and aluminum. The chart is graduated 18 to 30 ounces per dozen and 1½–2½ ounces each (in eighth-ounce increments). There is a round bubble level in the base.

The printed aluminum chart, base, pendulum, and egg cup show clear similarities to the later versions of Brower scales.
